surely right about cutting crenors !In Germany the NaOH component is reused so the mud loses most of its alkaline ph but that probably costs money Hungary seems to be an underdeveloped country regarding much of its industry cheap production counts and makes money for the owners whoever they may be I really hope they close down the whole operation until it is modernised even if some people lose their jobs, but those might be needed to recultivate the whole area.This reminds me of Eastern Germany which produced a lot of Braunkohle (brown coal or lignite), stripmining whole counties under the most horrible conditions. Most of these areas have been recultivated into green spaces
